Environment Club Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June, 2004. The students of the club along with the incharge Mrs. Vijaya Sharma and planted the saplings of the trees in the school campus.

Maths Club

Students of class VI and VII visited a Bank along with Mrs. V.K. Sharma, Mr. Sumit Puri and Ms. Pooja Dhir, they were made understand how to open a bank account and how to fillup the form.

Community Services

Visit to Prayas:
A group of 45 children visited the mentally challenged children of age group 5 – 20 yrs, under the supervision of Mr. R.P. Sharma and Mrs. Sukhwinder Kaur on 13.08.04. They distributed sweets, snacks, chocolates, cookies and fruits to them.

Visit to Pingla Ghar

The students of class VII of all sections visited Pingla Ghar on 9 th Nov 2004. The Children were very enthusiastic and donated sweets, fruits, cookies, foot wears and clothing to the destitute.

Say No to Crackers

The students of class VI, VII and VIII lead by their class teachers took part in a rally against the use of Crackers during the Diwali time.   • Mrs. Kamini Bhardwaj and Mrs. Vijay Laxmi attended a workshop on revised CBSE, NCERT Syllabus in science for classes IX and X organised at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar Cantt.
  • Mrs. Neena Matta and Mrs. Roma Midha from Primary Section attended a seminar at Ludhiana organised by the Oxford University Press.
  • Mrs. Meena Sabarwal attended an Orientation Programme in Economics at DAV School, Amritsar.
  • Mrs. Nirja Ganjoo and Mrs. Namita Batra attended a seminar on English Language Teaching on 15 November 2003 at B.C.M. Senior Secondary School. It was organised by the Oxford University Press in collaboration with CIEFL, Hyderabad.
