Jalandhar, May 31, 2023: International Yoga Day was celebrated with the enthusiastic participation of Classes VI-VIII. The students were made aware of the valuable gift of this ancient tradition – yoga, which embodies unity of mind & body, thought & action, harmony between man & nature, peace of mind, health and wellbeing of the entire humanity. The students performed various yoga asanas and the importance of these asanas was also explained simultaneously. The students were encouraged to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.

Jalandhar, May 29, 2023:The recent Kho-Kho Competition organised for Classes IV and VII proved to be a thrilling display of sporting prowess, strength and stamina. The participating students showcased their remarkable skills in running, chasing and dodging.

Jalandhar, May 29, 2023: Inter-House Math Quiz Competition was held at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar. The event aimed to promote mathematical skills, logical reasoning and healthy competition among students. Four teams, each consisting of four participants, enthusiastically participated in the competition. The quiz was structured in a series of rounds designed to test the participants' knowledge, problem-solving abilities and quick thinking. It provided an opportunity for students to showcase their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and teamwork, ultimately enhancing their overall academic development.


Jalandhar, May 26, 2023: To develop the linguistic and memorisation skills of the young students as well as to deepen their understanding of cultural and religious traditions, a Shloka and Doha Chanting Competition was organised for the students of UKG. The students recited shlokas (verses) and dohas (couplets) from various sources, such as the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata and other religious texts. Moreover, the competition was an opportunity for them to gain confidence, improve their public speaking abilities and develop a deeper connection with their cultural heritage.
Jalandhar, May 14, 2023: The School paid a heartfelt tribute to Apeejay's 'First Lady', Mrs Rajeshwari Paul Ji, respected wife of Dr Stya Paul Ji, Inspiration behind all Apeejay Education and beloved mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, on the occasion of her eleventh Punyatithi.
Mrs Rajeshwari Paul Ji was a motherly figure and a lady of a kind and gentle nature. Her life journey has given many lessons which are a legacy to be remembered. On this solemn occasion, a floral tribute was paid to Mrs Rajeshwari Paul Ji by the teachers and students. Melodious devotional songs were sung by the school choir. The tiny tots of pre-primary wing too paid their homage to the divine soul through their shlokas and hymns.

Jalandhar, May 08, 2023: The most propitious ceremony of the School, Investiture ceremony, was organised with full zeal and enthusiasm at School. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the school's Principal, Ms Sangeeta Nistandra, who was the chief guest for the event. The students were filled with pride and joy as they received their badges. The prefectorial board members comprised Head Boy - Devansh Singla, Head Girl - Vridhi Gupta, Sports Captain - Mayank Julka and the House Captains, Vice Captains as well as Prefects of all the four houses. Jalandhar, May 6, 2023: The School organised Mother’s Day celebration for the moms of children of classes Nursery to II. The theme of the show was ‘Arabian Nights’. The special day was celebrated with various fun activities and some memorable performances by children and their moms. All the mothers participated with full enthusiasm in all the games. The mothers exhibited their confidence and fashion sense through ramp walk. The School Principal and chief guest Ms Sangeeta Nishtandra, gave away the prizes.
Jalandhar, April 29, 2023: The students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road Jalandhar, had a thrilling experience on their excursion to Wonderland Amusement Park. The excursion was organised for the students of Classes II to VIII and it provided them with an opportunity to take a break from their regular routine and enjoy some fun and adventure.
The students were accompanied by their teachers and the excursion was well-planned and organised. The students eagerly explored the various rides and attractions that the park had to offer. Thus the trip provided the students with an opportunity to bond with their classmates and teachers.

Jalandhar, March 20, 2023: To mark the culmination of the pre-school years and to celebrate the first milestone in the life of the tiny-tots of UKG class, a Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was organised at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar. The programme began with a welcome dance by the students of Nursery class. The graduating kids spoke very enthusiastically about what they learnt during the course of the year. The memories captured throughout their pre-school years were also screened. The students with their smiling faces received their scrolls of merit from their principal, Ms Sangeeta Nistandra and co-ordinator of the school Ms Deepti Kaushal. The fun-filled ceremony ended on a cheerful note with big smiles on the faces of the new graduates.
Jalandhar, March 15, 2023: An event, ‘Run-for-Fun’ was organised at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, with an objective to spread the message among the masses to remain healthy and fit. The students of classes VI to VIII along with their teachers and co-ordinator, Ms Deepti Kaushal, participated enthusiastically in the health drive. The students were motivated to exercise regularly and stay healthy.
Jalandhar, March 11, 2023: Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, organised a fun-filled, exciting day – Family Fun Day, wherein the children aged 2.5 years to 6 years participated along with their parents and enjoyed various games. The tiny-tots of the Pre-Primary wing of the school as well as other playway schools participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the event. They participated in various exciting races and games like hurdle race, hoopla balls, drive safe, read the map and fix the flag, etc. Fun games were organised for parents as well. Jalandhar, February 08, 2023: The most awaited event of the year, Annual Sports Day, was organised for classes Pre-Nursery to VIII. The little ones of Pre-Primary wing had fun while indulging in different races like kangaroo jump, hopping race, zig-zag race, hurdle race etc. Sports events like shuttle run, push the ball with the stick, three-leg race, sack race, relay race, shot put and many more were held for the students of classes I to VIII.
Jalandhar, December 22, 2022: Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was celebrated amidst great splendor and zest. The function was presided over by Mr Aditya Berlia, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education and Co-Promoter, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, who joined the event virtually. Through this drive the students had put religious efforts in educating the general public about the importance of water and preserving our mother earth for the generations ahead. The heartfelt and inspiring message of our President Ma’am, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia was also read. An inspiring video reflecting the life and vision of Dr Stya Paul was shown to the students. The students also sang devotional songs and recited beautiful and inspiring poems. The prestigious ‘Dr Stya Paul Award For Human Values’ was awarded on this auspisious occasion. A cycle rally was also organised.

They made excellent use of the waste things available to them at home and made beautiful mobile & pen stands, wall hanging, dolls, lamps, desk organiser, photo frame, and key holders. They also decorated bottles and mirrors.

Jalandhar, Nov 3, 2021: Diwali, the festival of lights, is the most exuberant and popular festival. The tiny tots of the Pre-Primary wing of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, celebrated Diwali with full enthusiasm. The dance performances by the students vivaciously captured the joyous feelings. The students dressed up as mythological characters performed a skit that aptly revisited the historical significance of the festival - the victorious return of Lord Rama. Rhymes, telling the whole journey of Lord Rama, were also recited. The celebration filled all the little hearts with happiness and excitement.

Jalandhar, Oct 15, 2021: Animal Parade Activity was organised for the tiny tots of the Pre-Primary wing of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar. The students were made familiar with animal sounds and movements. They enjoyed the ‘Freeze and Unfreeze’ game and produced animal sounds and enacted their movements. The students came disguised as animals. They participated enthusiastically and danced to animal songs.

Jalandhar, Sep 27, 2021: Rumble in Jungle activity was organised by the Pre-Primary wing. The students came dressed up as different animals and spoke a few lines about the animal they were enacting. The activity not only enhanced the speaking skills of the students but also made them aware of the living and eating habits of various animals.

Jalandhar, Sep 10, 2021: Summer vacation is the most awaited time of the year that brings joy and smiles to the faces of the students. It is the time to have fun. Apart from giving the children time for recreation, it is also important to keep their learning process continue. An interesting holiday assignment was given to the children to engage them in some meaningful and fun-filled activities. Pause, Think, Reflect - A virtual meet was organised for classes VI-VIII. Topics - Food Wastage, Game Addiction, and Using Mobile Phone while Walking and Littering - were given to them. The students presented their topics through PPTs, videos, and Role Play.

Jalandhar, Aug 7, 2021: To honour the contribution of the handloom weaving community in the socio-economic development of India, National Handloom Day was celebrated in the special assembly organised for classes VI-VIII. The students emphasised raising awareness about India's handloom heritage, protecting it, and empowering the handloom weavers and workers with greater and better opportunities.

Jalandhar, May 6, 2021: There is nothing that can come close to the love that a mother feels for her children. Therefore, students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar found a unique way to express their gratitude towards their moms. Children showcased their love through 'Creative Food Gallery', wherein they made fruits and vegetable salads, along with their moms, and presented them with a beautiful card. Moms were overwhelmed by this expression of love from their kids.

Jalandhar, April 23, 2021: Book Mark Making competition was organised virtually for classes III-IV. The students made colouful book marks. They pasted pictures and wrote quotes on them. They enjoyed making bookmarks as it was an opportunity for them to display their talent and creativity.

Republic Day was celebrated virtually by the Apeejayites. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. They exhibited their love for the motherland through their patriotic songs, poems, speeches, and drawings. Coordinator, Ms Deepti Kausha,l hoisted the National Flag in the School along with the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Jalandhar, Jan 23, 2021: Extempore is one such method that assists the students not only in thinking on their own but also in voicing their creative ideas with precision. It is an art of public speaking that is carried out without preparation or forethought. An Intra-Class Extempore competition was organised for the students of classes V to VIII. The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and gave a tough competition to each other.

The children participated enthusiastically in various physical activities like jumping, mountain climbing, planks, jumping jacks, high knees, skipping, squats, lunges, etc. Through this event children got a chance to earn wider recognition for their sporting prowess and hence once again proved that nothing can stop them and like a falcon they'll soar high in the sky, living up to their motto, 'Soaring High is My Nature'.

Jalandhar, August 8, 2020: Hariyali Teej, the festival which marks the onset of monsoon season and cherishes the greenery was celebrated with gusto and fervour by the students and parents of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar. The students of classes Nursery to IV participated in the virtual celebration along with their parents. They gave various spell-bound performances. Children were seen singing, dancing, and putting mehandi on their palms along with their mothers.

Moms played games and participated enthusiastically in Bollywood Quiz Masti. A beautiful compilation of the selfies of moms and kids was a big surprise for them. Moms also shared their motherhood experiences which touched every heart.
