Children's Day Celebration
New Delhi, November 14, 2013: To mark the birthday of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the pre-primary department organised Flat Races for the children. The best three girls & three boys were awarded from all the sections of Class Nursery & KG.
New Delhi, November 1, 2013: A tableau was shown to the children of Class Nursery and KG based on the return of Lord Rama from the exile of 14 years after killing Ravana. The children of Nursery were dressed up and enacted as Lord Rama, Sita, Laxman, Hanuman, etc. A dance performance by the girls of Class Nursery followed the tableau and the same was also performed in the senior school assembly which was highly appreciated by all.
Epic of Ramayana
New Delhi, October 9, 2013: To make the children aware with our culture, scriptures and national heritage, the children from Class KG presented the ‘Epic of Ramayana’ in the form of dance & drama. The story narration was done in rap form accompanied by melodious background music and Chopaiyan. Shri Adi Yogi Das Prabhu, Cultural Director of Iskcon was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
The children performed with great zeal and enthusiasm wherein each child portrayed the character convincingly and enjoyed dramatising Ramayana. The parents of Class KG and Nursery children watched and enjoyed every bit of the show.
New Delhi, October 1, 2013: The children of Class Nursery came dressed up as national leaders on the occasion to celebrate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi – The father of our Nation. A pledge was also taken by the children – To hear no evil, speak no evil and see nothing that is evil.
New Delhi, September 11, 2013: The children from the Pre-School Wing dramatised the different episodes related to Lord Ganesha. The girls danced on the song ‘Deva oh Deva' & ‘Ganapati Deva'. The children from Class KG performed the famous Lavani Dance of Maharashtra. At the end of the programme, Arti was performed and prasad was distributed to all, amongst the chanting of ‘Ganapati Bappa Mourya Purcha Varshi Lokariya’.
