Haryana, April 2017: A ‘Speech & Writing Competition’ was organised on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti in JVMGRR College, Charkhi Dadri, by the Social Welfare Department, Haryana. Shikha from B.A. (II year) and Ravina from B.Com. (II year) participated in this programme. Shikha won a consolation prize of Rs. 3000 along with an Appreciation Certificate.

Rohtak, April 7, 2017: Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Convenor, Youth Red Cross Society attended a camp ‘Celebration of World Health Day’ at the Activity Centre. The Camp was organised by the Youth Red Cross, M.D. University, Rohtak.

Haryana, March 8, 2017: On the occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’, students of the Computer Department of the College organised a PPT. Mrs. Sneh Lata, Officiating Principal, also expressed her views and stressed on the point that a woman today is empowered enough to solve the problems of the society. She is also playing a leading role in different areas such as Administration, Economic, Political and Defence.

Bhiwani, Feb. 8, 2017: A District Level Poetry Recitation Competition under the Women Cell and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Forum was organised by the Vaish College, Bhiwani. The topic for the same was ‘Beti/Woman’. Ms. Chaya, M.A. (P) English, won the Consolation Prize (Certificate) and also won a prize in the ‘Questionnaire Competition’. Km. Jyoti, B.Com. (1st year), also won a cash prize of Rs. 350/-.
