Mrs. Anjali Bharadwaj, a former World Bank employee and presently Director, “Satark Nagrik Sangathan”, India visited the school to address the senior assembly on “ Right to Information Act”. She has been closely associated with the Right to Information movement in India since 2000 and has been a member of the Working Committee of the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information.

She informed the students that this right can be used as an instrument by ordinary citizens to ensure that people get what is rightly theirs. She sited examples from areas in South Delhi where even illiterate people had succeeded in getting their due. The procedure she explained was very simple but the results impressive. She addressed all the queries posed by the students and teachers with ease and conviction.
