New Delhi, May 14, 2018: A workshop on the admission process in Delhi University was conducted for students of Class XII. Mr. Jitin Chawla, an eminent career counselor, conducted the workshop and discussed about the various options available for students of Science as well as the Commerce stream. The students found the workshop enriching.

New Delhi, April 28, 2018: A Blood Donation Camp was organised by the Rotary Blood Bank in the School premises which saw numerous volunteers coming forward for the noble cause. The Camp was organised under the supervision of Dr. Anju Verma, CMO, Rotary Blood Bank, along with Ms. Sonu Singh, Motivational Officer, RBB. About 70 units of blood were collected.

New Delhi, April 18, 2018: A mock exercise for an earthquake scenario was held with about 1200 students of the School. The exercise was conducted after giving clear instructions to drop, take cover and hold. Students were also shown the path to be used, in such scenario, to the assembly point in the ground.

New Delhi, March 17, 2018: Students, accompanied by faculty and one parent, visited Agra for an educational excursion. They visited the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. A guide was also arranged to tell them about the rich history of the magnificent Taj Mahal, using interesting anecdotes. Students were keen to know more and had an interesting question-answer session at both places – Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Students were delighted to see the beauty of the Taj Mahal.

Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, to inculcate scientific aptitude amongst young Science students.

This year, 11 students of Class XI Science (with 10 CGPA) got the opportunity to attend the five-day workshop at Deshbandhu College, Kalkaji.

In the morning session, mentors like eminent Zoologist, Dr. Madan Mohan Chaturvedi, HOD Dept. of Zoology, DU, nurtured the young minds with his vast experience and excellent oratory skills. The topic of discussion was: Design of a Living System. The second mentor was Dr. Rajwant, Geologist and Asst. Prof. of Jammu University. She discussed the journey of Earth from past to present, among other things.
