New Delhi, December 23, 2022: Recently, the School organised a POSH workshop for all the staff members of Apeejay School, Saket, including the ancillary staff. The resource person for the session was Ms. Rishika Dhawan, who discussed the origin of the law for sexual harassment.

The interactive session focused on sensitising and creating awareness amongst the faculty of the school. The programme covered various aspects like the concept of sexual harassment, employer’s obligations, redressal mechanism under the law and the procedure for dealing with the complaint.

New Delhi, December 2, 2022: The School organised a Career Fair on 2 December 2022. The students were apprised about the Top Ranked Global Universities. They met university representatives from Trinity College Dublin, University of Toronto and University of British Columbia, to name a few. It was indeed a unique learning experience for the students and helped them to broaden their perspective and plan their career trajectory.

New Delhi, October 1, 2022: Apeejay School, Saket organised an informative Parent Orientation program on 1 October 2022 for parents of Class X students. Ms Jyotsna Bhardwaj, a nationally acclaimed counsellor, oriented the parents about the diverse career choices available for students and the importance of skills, interests and aptitudes while choosing a career trajectory.

New Delhi, April 10, 2021: The Principal, In-charges, and teachers of the Pre-Primary and Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Saket, underwent a day-long online training session to implement the ‘Awakening Citizen Program’ at school. The workshop organised by the Ramakrishna Mission and Apeejay Education saw participation from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, Saket, Pitampura, Faridabad, and Noida. The inaugural address by Dr V.S. Garg, Education Advisor, Apeejay Education and Swami Shanta ji threw light upon the long association with the Ramakrishna Mission through the ‘Awakened Citizen Program’ - a value-based program being implemented in classes VI, VII & VIII.

The idea that core values are learnt at a very young age is indisputable. The Awakening Citizen Program is a well-thought-out program and will run at all Apeejay institutions as a pilot project in this session. Interesting stories and activities are designed such that students listen, imbibe, learn by discussion, thinking, and speaking out their minds. They are encouraged to share, care and express as independent minds.

New Delhi, Feb 8, 2021: ‘SHARP-NGO’, under its program, organised a free ‘Online Health and Family Welfare Campaign’ for students of classes IV to IX on February 8, 2021.

37 students participated in this interactive workshop. The program is initiated by ‘The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’, (FSSAI) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The main aim of the workshop was to motivate students to follow a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
