New Delhi, October 10, 2020: An informative workshop was conducted on the safety guidelines for the virtual classroom by Ms Mamta Ghai. The major focus of the workshop was the digital safety of teachers as well as students. It was an interactive session in which the standard safety protocols and common practices to conduct safe classes were discussed. All the queries were taken up and appropriate settings for the online platform were shared.

New Delhi, October 10, 2020: A workshop on the basic etiquettes of teaching was conducted by Ms Sarita Chawla for the teachers of Apeejay School, Saket. The workshop reflected upon the values upheld by the Apeejay institutions and teaching etiquettes of the teachers which need to be kept in mind while being in the teaching profession. The session helped all the teachers to maintain proper decorum in the virtual classrooms and impart knowledge in a conducive way.

New Delhi, September 19, 2020: An informative and utilitarian online refresher session was organised on Zoom cloud meetings for the teaching faculty and activity teachers of Apeejay School, Saket, on the topic ‘Revisiting Grammar Nuances and Report Writing’.
The workshop was conducted by Ms Ambareen Faroquee (HOD, English Department) wherein various vital grammar concepts were dealt with effectively. The workshop reiterated the importance of punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and narration while framing write-ups and reports on various topics. The fine points required to draft a precise report were also enunciated comprehensively.
It was an interesting and interactive session with teachers raising queries regarding the correct usage of different concepts. The workshop was also attended by the in-charges of the pre-primary, primary, middle, and senior school. Over 40 teachers attended the session. The entire teaching community of the School remains indebted to the Principal, Ms Smita Amit, for providing the members with a conducive platform for self-improvement and growth.

New Delhi, July 18, 2020: An informative workshop on ‘Questioning Skills’ was organised by Mr N.N. Nayyar, Senior Education Officer, Apeejay Education Society. The session was held for the teachers of Apeejay School, Saket, and Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. The session reflected upon various types and forms of questions that can be asked to the students. Mr Nayyar also highlighted the pattern of question framing which can be easily perceived by the students.

A workshop was organised for the entire teaching faculty of Apeejay School, Saket, by Ms Mamta Ghai on the effective usage of Moodle to highlight the new features which included uploading of assignments, assessments through a quiz, appropriate settings for conducting tests, etc. The session focused on using Moodle efficiently and increasing its usage amongst students.
