New Delhi, Dec 12, 2020: The much-awaited Inter-School Sports Competition, 'Spardha', was held on Saturday 12th December 2020 with great zeal and euphoria. The inaugural program witnessed houseful participation from 52 reputed schools of Delhi and NCR along with the Chief Guest and the judges for various events. The artistic presentation paying homage to our phenomenal Indian sports legends and saluting the spirit of sportsmanship was much appreciated. An invigorating fusion dance performance that combined the elements of Zumba, Kick-Boxing, Freehand, and some Aerobics set the mood for the sports enthusiasts.

The School Principal, Mrs Smita Amit, welcomed the Chief Guest, teachers, and participants of various schools. The Chief Guest, Mr Nepal Singh, a renowned bodybuilder and a black belt in Judo, addressed the gathering and motivated the sports enthusiasts.

Spardha 2020 hosted 5 innovative sports competitions which included Push-up Challenge, Squat Challenge, and Skipping Challenge as the ‘online events’ and Yoga Challenge and Kata Challenge as the ‘offline events’.

It was a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills, and cheers.

Overwhelming and encouraging feedback was received from the participating schools for this unique initiative by the School during the pandemic.
