New Delhi, January 26, 2013: The fun-filled Silver Jubilee Carnival, held in the school premises in January 2013, was the highlight of the ongoing celebrations being held in the School this year. Mrs. Sushma Berlia, honourable President, Apeejay Education Society, inaugurated the carnival as she hoisted the national flag on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day and also released tri-coloured balloons. Dr. Blossom Kochhar, world renowned aromatherapist, aesthetician, cosmetologist and educationist; Ms. Lushin Dubey, Indian stage actor and director and Mr. Ronjan Sodhi, Asian Games gold medallist were the esteemed guests of honour or the Carnival. The jubilant crowd enjoyed games put up by students and teachers and there was also an hourly Raffle Prize in which many won amazing prizes like an LCD Television, quilt set, dinner sets, etc. The sound of laughter and joy could be heard from all corners, be it at the fun rides, the funky photo booth or the pottery corner. The Lucky Dip was a major crowd puller where people walked away with exciting prizes. The man on the stilts added to the fun. The crowd comprising students, ex-students, parents and the local community could be seen relishing delicious eateries at the food court. The event was indeed a roaring success.
