New Delhi, Dec. 15, 2018: The School celebrated its Annual Appreciation Day wherein about 250 students from the Middle and Senior Wings participated in the theatrical extravaganza, ‘Utkrisht Bharat - Ek Gaurav Gaatha’. It depicted the glorious Indian tradition & culture that also contributed to diverse indigenous games and sports. The play underlined the relevance of outdoor sports which are so vital for the overall development of children. The Indo-Western fusion presented by the School orchestra 'Shruti', the exuberant dances and the Yoga display were highly applauded by the audience.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Jayant Mishra, Principal Commissioner, Indian Revenue Service. He lauded the creativity and expertise of the staff and students in his address. The Guest of Honour. Dr Satyapal Singh, Dronacharya Awardee, Paralympics, appreciated the effort and precision shown by the students. Dr Juhi Chandni, the special invitee for the evening and an alumna of 2008 batch, shared fond memories of her school days with the gathering.
The event also witnessed the release of the eagerly awaited school magazine, 'Srijan'. Students achieving excellence in academics and co-curricular activities, and the meritorious school graduates were acknowledged & awarded for their accomplishments.
The School Principal, Mrs Smita Amit, presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the School. It was a memorable day for the School.
