The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in the School with gaiety and fervour to pay tribute to the framers of the Indian Constitution who toiled hard to draft it and pronounced India a republican unit.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Colonel Suram Singh CO, 20 JAK RIF who hoisted the tricolour along with the School Principal, Ms Smita Amit, Headmistress, Ms Priya Vaidya and PTA members.

A heartwarming celebration in the auditorium by the students, marked this special day. Students of Class VII presented a speech highlighting the concept of equality of all mentioned in the Preamble of the Constitution.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's impactful speech presented by Dhananjay Sharma of Class VIII B was much appreciated by all. Adhiraj Goel of Class XI A exhibited his oratory prowess with a fiery poetry on nationalism which left the audience in awe.

Students of class VII presented a thought provoking English skit on changing mindset towards stereotypes and gender discrimination.

A medley of mesmerising patriotic songs echoing India's freedom struggle by the melodious School choir was well applauded by all present.

The invigorating dances to various tunes ignited the spirit of unity and brotherhood amongst everyone.

The Chief Guest shared valuable and inspiring words of wisdom with the students to become responsible and worthy citizens of their country. The School Principal also presented him with a plant and memento as a token of appreciation.

It was a joyous day for all in the School.
