New Delhi, Oct. 18, 2016: The International Peace Day was observed in the School to promote the significance of a peaceful co-existence. Peace prayers were recited by grandparents and parents from the religious scriptures of the diverse religions of India. The chief guest, Ms. Vandana Jain, Head of Educators Division, Bharat Soka Gakkai inspired the young audience to work towards attaining peace and make a difference to the world. The students chanted Sanskrit shlokas and enthralled the audience with a soulful song on peace and a captivating dance performance. The guests lighted candles near the Peace Pole and shared a cup of tea under the Peace Tree.
