New Delhi, Jan. 20, 2018: Apeejay School, Saket echoed with fervent activity as it hosted its annual exhibition ‘Srijan 2017-18’. The event showcased a kaleidoscope of creative activities taken up by the students from the 25 clubs run in the School.

The colourful event was inaugurated by an acclaimed Kathak danseuse, Ms. Mahua Shanker, a recipient of the Nritya Bhushan Award and a disciple of the Indian Classical prodigy, Pt. Birju Maharaj. The creative ingenuity displayed by the students from classes III to X, representing their clubs, was highly appreciated by the chief guest, parents, visitors and special invitees.

The Music and Dance Club too enthralled the audience with their performances. Movie-making, 3D Printing, Photography, Robotics, Pottery, Origami, Handicrafts, Vedic Mathematics and Tod Phod Jod attracted many visitors. Likhawat, Aerobics. Guitar, Yoga & Skating, Theatre, Public Speaking and Debating, Health & Gourmet Club, Eco & Science Club and National & International Understanding Club received special appreciation.

A Poster-Making Competition was organised for the parents to promote a ‘Clean and Green’ India. A Blood Donation Camp was also organised by the Interact Club of the School on this occasion and twenty units of blood were collected. The School also took an initiative to spread awareness for organ donation as a service to humanity.

New Delhi, Dec. 23, 2017: Children of classes II and V presented their annual project presentation  ‘Jigyasa’ with themes ‘Material around us’, ‘Pollution’, ‘4 Rs’ and ‘Spice It Up’  respectively. It was a potpourri of models, facts, demonstration of Science concepts and facts.

Ms. Aditi Sharma, Environmental Educationist, Dr. Lalita S. Kumar, Professor, School of Sciences, IGNOU and Ms. Swati Singh Sambyal, Programme Manager, Environmental Governance were the distinguished guests invited on this occasion. The presentation was highly appreciated by them. They were delighted to see the enthusiasm shown by the students. Parents appreciated and lauded the teachers for their effort.

New Delhi, Dec. 16, 2017: ‘Alliance OSA’, an annual feature of Apeejay School, Saket was organised in the School Auditorium. It was attended by alumni from different batches (from 1995 onwards) and also by the teachers. Students and faculty shared their reminiscences and suggested strategies to further strengthen ‘Alliance’.

New Delhi, Nov. 18, 2017: ‘Teeny Weeny Fun Fair’ themed ‘Toy Land’ was organised in the School, encompassing myriad creative activities and novel fun games which provided an insight into the fascinating world of toys. The event aimed at developing observation, concentration, memorization and motor skills in a child. These hands-on activities were carried out throughout the year as a thematic teaching- learning process.

The Chief Guest for the event was Ms. Vidyun Goel, Director, Toy Bank, who also inaugurated the fair and appreciated the effort of the kids. The special attraction of the fair was ‘Give a toy, get the Joy’ wherein children donated lot of toys for the underprivileged children.

Bouncy, cycle race, fishing game, hopscotch and photo booth were some of the main attractions of the Fair. The event also witnessed encouraging participation of the parents in innovative fun activities and games, especially designed for them. Teachers from other Apeejay Schools also visited the Fair and appreciated the endeavour of the students and faculty.

New Delhi, May 17, 2017: The Senior and Junior Prefectorial Board Investiture Ceremonies were held in the School wherein 75 students from the Senior and Junior Wing were selected to be the part of the Prefectorial Board. Mr. Ankit Chauhan, Assistant Commissioner of Police, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He emphasised on the importance of discipline, communication and entrepreneurship to take the role of a leader.
