New Delhi, Oct 17, 2020: Dakshta Padak Samaroh, the annual prize distribution ceremony, was hosted on October 17, 2020, to celebrate the achievement of students in their academic pursuits and also to felicitate them. The Scholar Badge Ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp amidst rendition of shlokas which was followed by a virtual dance performance by the students. The Chief Guest was a distinguished luminary, Dr P.S.N. Rao, Director of School of Planning and Architecture. Dr Rao’s address to the scholars was truly motivating and inspirational as he enunciated the Ashtavadhanam, the ancient Indian art of learning and memorising to hone their skills and master the art of multitasking. School alumnus, Adhiraj Goel, an all-round achiever, also attended the session and shared his mantra for success, instilling positivity and self-belief among the students. His eloquent address left the young audience spellbound. Altogether, 110 students received scholar badges and e-certificates. The students with commendable and exemplary self-growth were also appreciated during the ceremony and were awarded the e-certificates. Super Scholars were also felicitated (for 3/4/5/6 years). Merit certificates were also conferred upon students who had scored 95% and above. The proud parents witnessing the event appreciated the online endeavour of the school and called it a motivating factor for the children.

New Delhi, Oct 5, 2020: Apeejay School, Saket, celebrated Founder's Day on 5th October 2020, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Stya Paul, the Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society. Dr Stya Paul was an eminent industrialist, educationist, and philanthropist. The towering inspiration behind the emergence of the Apeejay Stya Group and the Apeejay Education Society, he was a pioneering entrepreneur with a far-sighted vision for the future. On this momentous occasion, all the classes from Nursery to XII organised special assemblies to celebrate the day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program was conducted successfully through Zoom Cloud meetings. The day started with the inspiring message sent by the dynamic Chairperson of the Apeejay Education Society, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, which was read out in each class assembly by the Principal. The prestigious ‘Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values’ was also announced by the School Principal. The students enthralled us through melodious renditions of Chairman Sir's favourite bhajans, followed by soul-stirring chants, and inspiring speeches highlighting his truly inspiring life. They recited self-composed poems and couplets from his book ‘Reflections in Time.' The impressive and colourful PowerPoint presentations prepared by the students resonated with their affection and awe towards their Founder Chairman. Dedicated teamwork and coordination led not only to an enjoyable morning but also brought forth the innate creativity and adaptability of the students. They flawlessly anchored the assemblies and also turned into scriptwriters, lyricists, poets, and actors as they created and shared inspiring skits amongst other noteworthy presentations.

Every year, 2nd October is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of two eminent personalities, the Father of the Nation - Mahatma Gandhi, and the second Prime Minister of India, Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri who was a follower of Gandhi ji. This day is also declared as the International Day of Non-Violence by the United Nations. The School hosted various delightful sessions and special assemblies to immortalise Gandhi ji and his teachings and remember Lal Bahadur Shastri ji and his integrity. Students presented thought-provoking speeches, soulful bhajans, and poetry filled with determination to bring a positive change to the existing world. Students also paid tribute to the two world leaders by sharing how they would imbibe the values they adhered to. Impressive PowerPoint presentations and tricoloured posters made by our budding Apeejayites added a special charm to the celebrations.

New Delhi, Aug 29, 2020: The Investiture Ceremony of the newly constituted Prefectorial Board for the session 2020-21 was solemnised on 29th August 2020 through Zoom Cloud meetings. Swami Shantatmananda ji, a renowned spiritual mentor and Secretary of the Rama Krishna Mission graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He is deeply committed to spreading value education amongst the youth, especially to the school and college students. The event began with a devotional chant of Saraswati Vandana to seek the blessings of the goddess Saraswati. The School Principal welcomed the parents and students who had gathered online for the event and further felicitated the esteemed Chief Guest. This was followed by the announcement of citations for the newly appointed Senior and Junior Prefectorial Board for the session 2020-21. The former Head Boy, Shivoham Dagar, and Head Girl, Vartika Vani inspired everyone with their speeches. The Oath Taking Ceremony was initiated by the Principal where students pledged to abide by the responsibilities of their newly elected positions. It was meticulously administered by the Principal. The audience was enlightened by a stirring speech made by the honourable Chief Guest. The profound words spoken by him had not yet left their impact on the audience when the event was ushered into an awe-inspiring song resonating with the School motto. Kashish Nathani, the Head Girl for the session 2020-21 presented the vision of the Prefectorial Board while Arnav Kapoor, the Head Boy, showcased the goals for the upcoming session in their eloquent and articulate speeches. The Head Boy also delivered the vote of thanks and the event concluded successfully with an aura of unity and patriotism inspired by the National Anthem. It was yet another memorable school event where the students along with their parents witnessed the solemn ceremony.
