New Delhi, March 16, 2013: The Junior Appreciation Day of the School was held on March 15, 2013 and March 16, 2013. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp which was followed by Ganesh vandana and a short cultural programme on the theme ‘Peace and Harmony’. The Chief Guests for the two functions were Dr. Gursharan Kaur Joneja, Professor, Department of Child Psychology and Guidance and Counseling, NCERT and Ms. Sahana Balasubramanya, an Indian classical dancer. The School appreciated and acknowledged the students of classes I to V for their outstanding performance in scholastic and co-scholastic activities held during the academic session 2012-13. The students were also recognised for securing 100% attendance .Value awards were also presented to the deserving students. The best all-rounder trophy was conferred on the Head Girl of the Primary Wing, Jia Rohilla. The Chief Guests for the two functions appreciated the school for providing a very caring environment to the young learners.
