New Delhi, July 16, 2021: ‘Leaders are the role models who inspire followers and motivate them to reach the pinnacle of success.’

The Investiture Ceremony of the newly constituted Prefectorial Board was solemnised on July 16, 2021. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp amidst a soulful rendition of shlokas. The Principal, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih in his address, reiterated the vision & mission of the School and acknowledged the pivotal role played by the first family to impart quality education in Apeejay Schools. He welcomed the revered Chief Guest, Ms Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DCP/Crime, New Delhi.

The esteemed Chief Guest, in her address, urged the students to embrace their duties with humility, perseverance, and integrity. She also shared reminiscences from her school days and inspired the young leaders deeply with her motivational words.

Ornate citations were read out for the enterprising members of the Junior and Senior Prefectorial Board. The former Head Boy and Head Girl shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards the teachers, their school, and the management. This was followed by well-enunciated speeches by the newly elected Head Girl, Mehal Kanoujia, and Head boy Bhavya Mohindru. The Principal administered the oath and conveyed his wishes to the student leaders to accomplish the duties & responsibilities entrusted to them for the year ahead.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Curriculum Coordinator, Ms. Ritesh Sharma.

The occasion proved to be an exhilarating moment for all the office bearers who were filled with zeal and zest to take up their duties. It was a proud moment for the parents to witness their wards being invested, as they embarked on a new journey as promising leaders.
