New Delhi, April 16, 2013: An interschool cultural festival, ‘Chunauti 2013’ was held in the school wherein seven competitions designed for the festival caught the imagination and creativity of the participants. Students from 40 prestigious schools from Delhi and the National Capital Region participated in this event.
Ms. Jyoti Shrivastva, an internationally acclaimed Odissi dancer, was the Chief Guest at the inaugural function. During her address, she encouraged the students to live in unison with nature and follow their dreams. The festival saw eminent judges from the fields of music, dance, art, and languages adjudging the competitions with professionalism and patience.
It was a delight to see the students approaching the competitions with creativity and enthusiasm. The ‘Ustad Mustak Ali Khan rolling trophy’ for overall excellence in music and dance went to Apeejay School, Faridabad & K.R. Mangalam School, Greater Kailash, was the proud recipient of the overall ‘Chunauti’ trophy.
