New Delhi, July 17, 2021: "Goodbye may seem forever. Farewell is like the end, but in our heart is the memory and there you will always be."
The formal farewell ceremony of Apeejay School, Saket - ‘Abhinandan’ - was organised on July 17, 2021. The evening echoed with blessings as the entire school staff came together to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of Class XII students. The occasion was filled with mixed emotions for everyone present in the virtual meeting to witness the official send-off for Class XII students at the valedictory event.
The program commenced with virtual lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by readings from the religious scriptures - Gita, Quran, Bible, and Guru Granth Sahib, by the teachers. The Principal, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih blessed the students with his motivational words of wisdom and invaluable counsel as the falcons prepared themselves to embark on a new journey. The Curriculum Co-ordinator, Ms Ritesh Sharma offered her blessings and wished the outgoing batch success in their future endeavours.
The class teachers of the outgoing batch, Ms. Viveka, Mr.Sanjiv, and Ms. Neena Kaushik addressed their respective classes with endearing speeches. Ornate citations were read out for each student of the outgoing batch by the teachers leaving them emotional. The former Head Boy, Aranav Kapoor, and Head Girl, Kashish Nathani shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards the teachers, their school, and the management. Many students came forward to share their gratitude speeches for their alma mater and their teachers and fond memories created in the school, leaving everyone dewy-eyed.
The evening was interspersed with a variety of performances put up by the present Class XII, comprising melodious medley of songs, heartwarming poetry recitation, a vibrant dance performance, and a nostalgic video film that took the twelthies on a trip down memory lane, reminiscent of their enriching journey in school.
The function culminated with senior teachers giving blessings and warm send-off wishes to the outgoing batch and the vote of thanks by senior teacher Ms Neena Kaushik.
