New Delhi, May 14, 2019: Class IX A presented their special assembly on the topic ‘Discipline and Self-Grooming’ in the School Auditorium. The students presented a play displaying the discipline and indiscipline issues of two different families. A speech was delivered to create awareness among the students about discipline and self-grooming. A song named ‘Shallow’ was sung by Sia Shukla and her group. A nukkad natak was also performed showing the different phases of indiscipline in our daily life and concluded with the quote ‘अनुशासन लाओ देश को बेहतर बनाओ’.

New Delhi, May 2019: As part of ISA projects, we at Apeejay School, Saket, have completed 7 projects, each having international dimension and 3 having international collaboration, with schools in the Netherlands, UAE and Nepal. All projects were based on UN sustainability goals.

The action plans for these projects, encompassing 8 months and classes from Pre-Primary to Class XII, were formulated in May 2019. 200 students from the current Class IX and X participated in the project titled ‘Sugar Intake Amongst School Children’. Students engaged in a plethora of activities starting from 6th April till 10th May 2019.

The project concluded with a presentation on May 10, 2019 and included several topics like - result of research on sugar content in aerated drinks and chocolates, consequences of high intake of sugar in a student’s diet, graphical comparison of obese population in U.K, U.S.A, Australia, France & India, assessing of sugar intake by some students and concluding whether their diet was appropriate or needed changes. Students made presentations and also enacted a skit.

The guest for the event, Mr Sahoo, Education specialist with UNICEF, appreciated the interpersonal skills of students and was impressed by the depth of knowledge each student showed for his/her activity.

The entire ISA journey has been an enthralling experience for every teacher in the School as well.

New Delhi, May 2019: Students of Classes V-VIII witnessed an enthralling Bhartnatyam performance depicting 'Ardhnarishwar' by Tanya Saxena at the Kala Sangam initiative at Apeejay School, Saket. Tanya is trained by the renowned Bharatanatyam Guru, Padma Bhushan Dr Saroja Vaidyanathan. Late Mrs Rajeshwari Paul is the beloved wife of Late Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society.
