Recent Workshops

Apeejay School, Pitampura, has been selected by the BRITISH COUNCIL for “British Council School Ambassador Programme”. The workshop of British council School Ambassador was conducted on 27th and 28th July, 2010 which was attended by Mrs. Anjana Gaba and Ms. Vandana Adwani.

7On 20th July, 2010, a workshop for the students of Class V was conducted to encourage art and craft among the students. The Resource Person was Mrs. Sulekha Bhargava who taught the students how to make Mask with the old newspapers and coloured sheets.


On Saturday 10th April, the teachers of the Pre Primary and Primary Deptt. attended a workshop on PEC Programme (Physical Education Cards). The workshop was conducted by Ms. Renu Nagpal an prominent Resource person of the Programme.

To begin with the teachers were divided into groups through which they participated in various activities through out the day.

Ms. Nagpal began with a brief introduction to PEC, after which she asked a few relevant questions and asked the teachers to prepare the answers in their groups.

As the day unfurled the teachers participated in a variety of sports activities and learnt how they may be able to use sports as a tool to teach their subjects in class as well as a Physical activity in the field.

Ms. Nagpal also shared the wonderful work that has been going on through PEC all through out the country through some video’s and films.

The workshop ended with the different groups preparing their very own games with the rules to be initiated adding seven new PEC cards to the already existing hundred cards that Ms. Nagpal has developed.

It was a great learning experience for all the teachers present and they were found commenting that this was a much more joyful way of teaching some of their topics in class. The teachers were enthusiastic to use some of the techniques in the upcoming teaching session and seemed ready to go.
