Delhi, June 26, 2021: Malvika Tiwari and Anvesh Misri represented Apeejay School, Pitampura participated in the District Interact Leadership Summit, held on 26th June 2021. The program, popularly called DILS 2021, saw the participation of 42 leading schools from the region. It commenced with an ice-breaking introductory session wherein six students from different schools were grouped and sent to breakout rooms to ideate and brainstorm over their activities. This gave the participants time to come together, interact and discuss their activities as a team. The opening ceremony started with ten chosen schools which were allowed to showcase their work in the form of videos displaying the remarkable work carried out by the Interact clubs. It was an honour for our school to find a place among the ten chosen schools.
With young minds full of zeal, innovative ideas, and the will to serve, the summit was an ideal platform for the young interactors to learn and imbibe new ideas. Session one saw the participants discuss and share their inputs on various new projects and innovative ways to increase the club’s efficiency. It was a brainstorming and interactive session.
In the second session. The interactors discussed the limitations of various endeavours and how to overcome them. The event wrapped up with a spectacular closing ceremony in which the distinguished Rotarians shared their valuable feedback and appreciated the efforts of the interactors in a nutshell. The session was highly fruitful, constructive, and motivating. Such events prove that nothing can act as an obstacle in the way of interactors while working for the betterment of society.
