New Delhi, Sep. 29, 2016: “Having choices is good but having too many choices at times lead to despair. Making a career in what you enjoy doing will never make you feel stressed out.”

Keeping this in mind a workshop was conducted for the students of classes XI and XII, by Pratham, a unit of the International Institute of Financial Markets.

The Workshop started with the welcoming of the esteemed guests with a bouquet. Thereafter, Mr. Amarnath Mondal, the resource person for the Workshop addressed the students.

This organisation has, over the last few years, evolved as the most trusted institute for establishing the career paths for students. Mr. Amarnath Mondal was the resource person for the Workshop. Mr. Mondal is a management graduate from West Bengal University of Technology, a post graduate from the Institute of Marketing and Management, India and he also holds a Master’s degree in PR and Advertising from the U.S. with 8 years of experience in overseas education. He also helps students overcome the dilemma of making a career choice.

He made the students understand the ways and means of making the right choice regarding various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the several universities abroad. He laid emphasis on working hard. Very categorically, he shared a detailed plan and month-wise timetable for the students in order to prepare them for overseas education. Mr. Amarnath insisted that this was the right time for the students to plan out their career. He said they need to ‘THINK, PLAN and ACT’.

He elaborated on the fact that making a choice for a foreign university depends on one’s interest, aptitude, awareness and feasibility. He talked about the ‘Career Competency Test’ designed exclusively by Pratham to gauge the student’s interests and passions. It was an insight for the students regarding the various career options they had in mind. The Workshop concluded with a vote of thanks for the esteemed guests.
