On 8 November 2011, Apeejay school, Pitampura organized Japanese calligraphy workshop for classes V to X in the school premises. The resource person was Mr. Yamoto Yuri famous Japanese calligraphy artist. Mr. Katsumo Doi Director General Japan foundation, New Delhi and Ms Junko Yamanoi Assistant Director Japan Foundation also graced the occasion with their benign presence. The workshop was an endeavor to teach Japanese students the correct stroke order of Japanese script with paint brushes. Students were also taught to write kanji. It was indeed a beautiful aesthetic experience.
