New Delhi, Dec. 6, 2016: Mrs. Shivani Verma attended the India-Japan Partnership Dialogue at the India International Centre. The Dialogue was meant to provide updated information about studying in Japan, career opportunities and a new scholarship for school teachers to visit Japan for familiarization & study of the Japanese education system.
The main agenda items were:
Item 1: Studying in Japan: Presentation of details about studying in Japan – where to study even if a student does not know Japanese, what to study, how to get admission, what schemes are available to finance study, etc.
Item 2: Scholarship for School Teachers: Presentation of details about fully paid Japanese Government Scholarship for teachers of an Indian school to visit Japan for 15 months to familiar themselves with Japan and its education system. Scholarship was meant for teachers in Schools interested in promoting the contacts with Japan. Knowledge of Japanese language was not a pre-requisite.
