GERMAN WORKSHOPGERMAN WORKSHOPNew Delhi, July 10, 2016: A two-day German Teachers Workshop, organised by the Goethe Institute / Max Mueller Bhavan at the Lalit Hotel, New Delhi on 9th & 10th July 2016, was attended by Ms. Pooja Chadha, teacher at Apeejay School, Pitampura. Around 135 teachers teaching German in various schools of Delhi-NCR and other cities participated in the Workshop. It was organised with an aim to bring together teachers teaching German in different schools under one roof to exchange ideas & enhance their teaching methodology in the classrooms to make it more interesting, informative and creative. The team members of the organising team acquainted the teachers with innovative strategies to develop German communication. The workshop was followed by parallel workshops on different topics such as ‘English is a must – German is a plus’; ‘Improving (Germany) teaching sustainable’; ‘Three drivers of the quality of teaching’; ‘Language learning with Music’; ‘Implementation of mini projects in the DaF classroom’; ‘Use of theatrical means in teaching’, etc. Overall, it was an educative, stimulating and inspirational experience.
