New Delhi, Aug. 25, 2017: The Commerce Society of Apeejay School, Pitampura got the golden opportunity to have an interactive session with Mr. Manas Kumar Chaudhuri {B.Sc., LL.B., LL.M. and M.A. (History)}. Mr. Manas holds a PG Diploma in International Law and has also been a guest faculty representing India in various workshops, both in India & abroad. He also advises Indian and overseas clients on Competition Law & Policy and related Legal/ regulatory issues. During the Seminar, he talked about various laws that came to India after 1991 and their effect on the business policies and practices. He took up real life examples to help the students gain utmost clarity on the topic without going into the intricate details of Law. He also talked about the story behind the formulation of the Geographical Indication (GI) Bill with special reference to Darjeeling Tea. Students were well aware of the topics he discussed and were enthusiastic in asking their queries about the same. Mr. Manas answered all the queries to the utmost satisfaction of the students. The session was very informative for everyone.
