C.B.S.E. organized the 16th National Annual Sahodaya Conference at Gurgaon from 9th to 11th December, 2009. The theme of the conference was “Rethinking School reforms – opportunities and challenges”.
Miss Renu Nagpal was invited by the C.B.S.E. at the British Council as resource person to give a presentation on the importance of physical education at primary level, the PEC methodology and the case study of Apeejay school, Pitampura.
The case study of Apeejay school, Pitampura came across as the highlight of the presentation. The presentation showed the effective implementation of PEC methodology in Apeejay school, Pitampura. The success of this methodology among the students and the teachers was for everyone to see. The effective use of PEC resources – the physical education cards and the sports equipments which not only make physical education fun but a productive session as well, was focused upon.
