New Delhi, Oct. 2016: Students, along with two teachers, visited Hindu College, Delhi University and participated in the mega event organised by the Rotary Club Delhi Midtown College on the occasion of World Polio Day. Students from classes VIII to X joined hands to form the human chain to form words ‘Polio Free India'. Amongst the prominent dignitaries were N. Subramaniam, Member of WHO, UNICEF and the Rotary Club. The mission was envisaged to eradicate Polio from the world after eliminating it from the India. The highlight of the speeches delivered on this day was to protect children across the globe against this debilitating but preventable disease. The volunteers of the Rotary Club put up a wonderful endeavour to create awareness amongst the masses against Polio that was applauded by one and all.
