Delhi, December 31, 2022: The much awaited Apeejay School Pitampura Winter Carnival - ‘EUPHORIA’ was held after a gap of two years on 31st December, perfectly timed to bid adieu to the year 2022 and usher in year 2023. The Principal, Ms Veena Goel welcomed the chief guest, Dr Harsh Vardhan, Former Minister of Health & Family Welfare, who praised the children and lauded the efforts of the school for organising the event. He said that when children participate in these type of events, it adds to their learning in multiple ways.

The school wore a festive & colourful look and the school grounds teemed with students, parents and grandparents. It pulsated with scintillating music, dance and cheering voices from the breath-taking joy rides. The stalls put up by students of various classes showcasing their artistic & creative abilities were indeed a crowd puller. The games – ‘Topping the coin’, ‘Lucky seven’ ‘Estimating the peapods’, ‘Making pairs’, and many more kept the gathering enthralled. The carnival had something in store for everybody - be it children or adults. The school ground was transformed into a mini ‘Magic City’ with exotic food, tattoo and face painting.

The pre-primary students, dressed up in their favourite Disney characters marched in the jamboree parade drawing huge applause from everyone. The stage shows by students, and events like the ‘Talent Hunt’, ‘Baby show’, ‘Mom n me’, ‘Dad n me’ etc. stole the hearts of everyone. From well-choreographed Dance Performances to Song Renditions and ‘Flash Mob’, the stage was always on fire. The ‘Raffle Draw’ was a big attraction and the ‘Music on Demand’ added to the spirit of celebration. The Interact Club of the school presented a token of their contribution to the “Vridh Ashram” keeping alive the spirit of sharing & caring.
