Visit to KoreanNew Delhi, April 26, 2016: Ten winner students of Level I Quiz from classes IX-XII, along with Mrs. Anjana Gaba, visited the Korean Culture Centre, Lajpat Nagar to participate in second level of the 1st Korea-India Quiz Competition 2016. Amongst the 10, Harshita Kaushik of Class XII qualified for the final round of the Quiz.

All the students were enlightened with an insight into the Korean culture and traditions. They also got an opportunity to wear the traditional Korean hanbok dresses and ate a traditional dish called 'pingsu' which was a mixture of vanilla ice cream, fresh fruits & other ingredients. There were a number of interesting games for the children as well. Students won exciting prizes in games. The session of Taekwondo (national sport of Korea) that followed the games was another new experience for the students in which they learned self defense techniques by a trained black belt martial art expert. The session was of about half an hour after which refreshments were given to energise the students. The trip concluded with the announcement of the results of the quiz and a felicitation ceremony in which the President of the Culture Centre commemorated the teachers & the winners.
