New Delhi, September 3, 2019: A Special Assembly, on the occasion of Teachers Day, was conducted by the students of Class II. Teacher’s Day commemorates the birth anniversary of one of the most distinguished scholars, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The assembly started with a stuti by the students portraying the essence of a Guru (teacher). It was followed by the news section wherein the students informed about the latest happenings in and around India. A talk on Teacher’s Day was given by Vedanshi which enlightened everyone as to why we celebrate this great day. Some of the students danced on the song ‘Teachers’ which was mesmerising. A skit was enacted which sent across a message that no one can replace a teacher. The highlight of the show was the presentation of planters and cards prepared by the students, to the principal, vice-principal and all the primary school teachers. It was done while the young ones sang the song ‘We Love You Teachers’. The assembly was well-appreciated by everyone present there.


New Delhi, September 4, 2019: The Pre-Primary Wing celebrated Teacher’s Day with great fun and enthusiasm wherein a Special Assembly was conducted by Class Nursery D. To inaugurate the celebration, a floral tribute was paid to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Radhya Bhatia shared about ‘When and why do we celebrate Teacher’s Day?’ The assembly began with the dance performance on ‘Guru Vandana’ followed by thoughts and talk highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student’s life. This was followed by a dance performance on the melodious song ‘Happy Teachers Day’ making all teachers proud and happy for selfless service and students full of gratitude and love for their teachers. An adorable dance performance by students on the song ‘I Love you Teacher’ left the audience mesmerised. The lyrics of the song depicted the love and respect a student feels for the teacher. It was an endeavour to celebrate Teacher’s Day in a special way to convey students’ sincere gratitude. The next event in assembly was most memorable as students presented amazing handmade greeting cards prepared for this special occasion and a flower as their token of love and affection to all the teachers.

The assembly concluded with the beautiful thought shared by Naira Hasan Fatta, about the importance of teachers in their lives. On behalf of all the students, she expressed gratitude towards all the teachers.

The Pre-Primary In-Charge also wished the staff ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’ and insisted on quality teaching and creating a spark of desire within children to find the answers.

New Delhi, September 5, 2019: Good teachers are the reason why ordinary students dream to do extra ordinary things. It was in this spirit that the School gathered in the amphitheater to celebrate Teacher’s Day.

The members of the Apeejay Parliament organised a special assembly to thank the teachers for all their hard work on behalf of all the students. The assembly started on an auspicious note with the lightning of ceremonial lamp, followed by prayers.

The students prepared self-composed poems and speeches on the importance of celebrating this day. The highlight of the event was the musical act which focused on how various experiences with our teachers help us in our lives later on. A special performance was prepared by the SAPS who mesmerised the audience with their genuineness.

Cards prepared by the students were handed over to the Principal, Vice-Principal and all the teachers as a token of their gratitude. The event concluded with a high note musical performance by Yasho Vardhan.
