New Delhi, August 13, 2014: All of us have a scientific temper, as much as we have a conscience. And as with conscience, the scientific temper has to be jolted into action, and we need to be reminded that it exists, although quiescent, and it should be encouraged and exhorted to use it in our young learners.

In lieu of this, the School organised ‘Science Day’ in the school premises to mark the impact of Science in our daily lives. The Day commenced with a morning assembly which showcased a skit that emphasised the same. To encourage students to ask questions and to promote their effective participation, a talk was also staged for the students of Class XI.

Dr. Charu Goel, Professor, Dept. of Physics, Miranda House, Delhi University spoke about ‘Fibre Optics’ and inspired the students to remain focused and also gave them useful tips for making a flourishing career in science.

The students of the school were also engaged in a wide array of inter-class activities, each based on the theme, ‘Science is Fun’.
