New Delhi, Jan. 25, 2017: The School celebrated Republic day within the School premises and Compassion House got the opportunity to conduct this special assembly. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with tricolor balloons along with the Indian flags, conveying a sense of pride and honour to every person present in the auditorium.
The program started with the School Principal hoisting the Tricolour in the play field that was followed by the National Anthem. The assembly began with the Gayatri Mantra, and a prayer followed by meditation. The students of the Compassion House made the gathering aware about the recent happenings in our nation, across the world and in the School. They also performed a street play which was focused on the fact that in order to make our Constitution more successful and in order to have better implementation of our Constitution, efforts have to be made by the people and the government. After the street play, there were dance performances based on patriotism and it was followed by a mesmerising & a soothing orchestra performance.
In the end, the School Principal addressed the gathering and guided them to have good values & become better human beings.
