New Delhi, March 21, 2017: An Overnight Camp themed ‘Fundamental Unity of Religions’ was organised for Class IV students, from 20th-21st March 2017.
The first day started with arrival and registration of students, followed by a prayer. Various activities were planned for the students who enjoyed playing field games. A treasure hunt was also conducted for them to hone their thinking skills. Students were also shown documentaries based on the theme of the Camp. Students enjoyed the camp fire after dinner.
The second day saw the students starting their day with a nature walk and some exercises in the playfield. After the breakfast, they visited the Church, Gurudwara and ISKCON Temple where they learnt that God is one and only the form is different. They also learnt that all religions teach one thing, i.e., Unity. After lunch, an inter-class quiz based on the theme of the Camp was also conducted, wherein classes IV-A and IV-D bagged the First Position.
It was an enriching experience for the students and equally challenging & entertaining for the teachers.
