New Delhi, March 6, 2016: The students of Class V attended an overnight camp, themed ‘World Historical Site’, from 5-6 March 2016 wherein the students immersed in a gamut of activities such as treasure hunt, quiz, nature walk & creative writing.
The visit to the Red Fort was a great opportunity for the students to enhance their knowledge on our rich Indian history. They were awestruck by the breathtaking and intricate architecture of the magnificent red sandstone structure. An audio-visual presentation also gave an insight into the historical and architectural aspect of the Red Fort to the students.
Such camps build teamwork, develop social skills, foster self esteem, promote peer recognition and lead to new lasting friendships. It was an enriching and unforgettable experience as it gave each camper memories that would last a lifetime.
