“To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world”

- Chinese proverb

New Delhi, August 28, 2019: The School organised LINGUISTA 2019 to celebrate the beauty of languages and their importance in our lives. The day began with a short assembly highlighting the essence of refined and eloquent language skills as an embellishment of our personality. A plethora of interactive activities and competitions marked the day, with an aim to provide a platform to the students to express their oratory skills and creativity. A mixture of activities in Hindi and English language like – Baataon Baataon Mein (classes IX-X), Lexicon (Class V), Character Dramatization (Class IV), Quiz & Newspaper Buzz (Class VIII), Book Discussion – Hard Times by Charles Dickens (Class XI) saw students giving tough competition to each other. The students of Class IV exhibited their beautiful handwriting through an inter-class Sulekh Competition.

Two interactive workshops – one by Ms Priya Nagrajan – Roll a Dice (Grammar & Vocabulary Games) and Enhancing Communication Skills by Mr Lucky Puchrat for students of classes VI &VII respectively were an enriching experience for the students.
