New Delhi, 17 July, 2018: Apeejay School, Pitampura, has come up with an innovative programme called Junior Apeejay Parliamentarians (JAPs) – to inculcate amongst the students the qualities of leadership and instill values in them. For the session 2018-19, twenty young parliamentarians from classes IV & V were selected by going through a rigorous process of a written test and interview.

On 17th July 2018, an Investiture Ceremony was organised to felicitate the newly elected JAPs. The Ceremony was presided over by the School Principal, Mrs. Veena Goel, Vice-Principal, Dr. Sujeet Masih and Primary In-Charge, Mrs. Praveen Kumari. Mrs Veena Goel addressed the students and encouraged them to be committed to their responsibilities and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity. It was followed by an oath taking ceremony and presentation of prefectorial ties.
