New Delhi, January 24, 2014: The school celebrated Japanese Day marking the 61 years of Indo-Japan diplomatic relations. The event comprised Japanese songs, Japanese fan dance, dance performance -Sora Bushi, character dramatisation of an ‘Amine Character’ and a talk on the Japanese struggle of existence. Mr. Yasujiro Takei, Japanese language advisor, Japan Foundation, has been promoting Japanese culture and joined the staff & teachers of the school on Japanese Day along with Ms. Sonu Gupta, Programme Co-ordinator, Japan Foundation. Mr. Yasujiro Takei, in his talk, shared the importance of Japanese language in this global competition and also the similarity of Japanese and Hindi language. He also presented a short quiz on Japan. It was a fun filled and great learning experience for the students.
