New Delhi, August 29, 2016: Following the tradition of strengthening our roots by inculcating the right values at the right time, the Pre-Primary Department grabs every opportunity to meet its objectives. The students of classes K.G. and Nursery took on to lead the Janamashtmi celebration in a special morning assembly. The stage was beautifully set for the day with young students staging different scenes from Lord Krishna’s life like Birth of Lord Krishna, Sheshnag episode, Krishna Sudama bond, Raslila with Gopis, etc.

Dressed in traditional costumes, students played their characters with enthusiasm and confidence while narrating the scenes. Others in solo performances talked about the significance of this festival in their own creative ways.

A beautiful Lord Krishna in his Balgopal form, sitting in a traditional ‘Jhoola’, occupied the centre stage. Each student was allowed to rock the strings of pious ‘Jhoola’ and offer their prayers to mark the closing of the celebration.
