New Delhi, April 17, 2021: Is it possible to cook without flame? “Yes very much possible!” says the students of Apeejay School, Pitampura. The Middle School conducted an Inter-House Master Chef Competition on 17th April 2021.
The Competition was conducted to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, the necessity and advantages of healthy eating, and to encourage the students to stay away from junk food.
Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork, culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking. The aim of the activity was also to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest.
Each house prepared 2-3 items which included salad, healthy shakes, snacks, and a dish of their choice. The students prepared healthy dishes using easy and quick recipes. They have presented dishes artistically and aesthetically which was most appealing and the display was a visual treat tickling to the taste buds.
The judges for the day were Mrs. Latika and Mr. Sudhir Ranjan who judged based on presentation, innovation, nutritional value, and taste of food. The presentations of the students were appreciated by the Principal, Ms. Veena Goel, and Middle School In-charge, Mrs. Malini Sridhar.
