New Delhi, Aug. 12, 2016: A special assembly on Independence Day was organised by the Pre-Primary Department wherein students of Nursery and K.G were seen bubbling with excitement to showcase their talent on stage.
After a few patriotic rhymes and songs sung by the young singers, the stage was set free for the young freedom fighters to come up and share their views with the audience. This was followed by a banging performance – a dance on ‘Kehte hai humko pyaar se. Indiawale…’ wherein the little toddlers swayed to the foot tapping music in a well-synchronised manner.
The students were also seen rejoicing and clapping on being shown a clipping of the Flag Hoisting ceremony held at the Red Fort by the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narender Modi.
Students of Dignity House also conducted the celebrations of India’s 70th Independence Day which included a plethora of activities. Students presented a street play highlighting India’s journey over the years and also encouraged the youth to take a stance & stand up for their motherland. After the street play was a mesmerising dance performance by the budding dancers. The stage was set on fire when the talented musicians of the House were called on to perform.
The budding artists wowed the audience with their dancing and speaking skills.
