“To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.”
- Nelson Mandela (South African Civil Rights Activist)

Apeejay School, Pitampura observed Human Rights Day. Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December - the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) - a milestone document, which proclaims the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinions, national or social origin, property, birth, or another status.

A special assembly was conducted by the students of classes IV and V to spread awareness and make them understand the importance of this day. The students presented PPTs and delivered speeches showcasing the importance of this day.
