New Delhi, December 15, 2015: The School celebrated German Day wherein the day started with a speech on the importance of learning German language, followed by three humorous and enthusiastic ‘Theater Plays’ by students of classes VI, VII & VIII. The plays were: ‘die Rübe’ (The Turnip) followed by ‘Gefälschte Unterschrift’ (False Signature) and then ‘Zum Speisen mit der Langewörtergesellschaft’ (The Dinner with Society of Long Words) with narration of the same in English and dialogues in German. These plays added glamour to the show and students learned a lot from these plays. The show continued with an interactive session of quiz wherein questions were related to Germany for the students of classes V & VI. The questions were very informative and everyone enjoyed it. A German song sung by students of the German Club, ‘Ich bin ich’, lifted everyone’s spirit. Various activities were also held in the classes to help children explore this beautiful language, German.
