New Delhi, Sep. 13, 2018: Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, who is known as the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. This festival is also known as Ganesh Utsav which means festival of Ganesha.

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in the School with great pomp and show.

A special assembly was conducted by the students of the Pre-Primary Wing (Class Nursery A). The programme commenced with a short skit on Ganesh Ji’s childhood. It showcased how Ganesh Ji got their new avatar in early years of his life. The kids staged the act with confidence and great expressions.

This was followed by a joyful dance of mice and Lord Ganesha, depicting his playful and fun loving nature. Chaavi Gupta of Class Nursery A articulated lines on the qualities of wisdom of Lord Ganesha and his innocent behavior which attracts his every worshipper.

Paying a special tribute to the beautiful deity, little angels of Class Nursery A showcased their love and affection by presenting a mesmerising dance on the tune of ‘Oh my friend Ganesha tu rehna sath hamesha’. The aura of the stage was enlightened with their vibrant yellow costume as well as with the wonderful smiles on their faces.

The programme concluded with Aarti recital and chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Moriya’ in which all the students and teachers participated with full devotion & respect. It was a delightful performance and no child fell short of either enthusiasm or poise.
