Holistic development especially for students is the flintstone on which the vision of an institution is laid. Apart from value-based education, academic, and sports activities, Apeejay School, Pitampura has always focused on yoga and meditation.
The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the body. As a part of this awareness campaign, the students of Class I were sensitised about the benefits of yoga and meditation. The students learnt some brain yoga exercises which will help them to focus their mind and improve their concentration. The students also learnt the benefits of chanting om and later performed meditation according to the teacher's instruction.
The students were educated about the importance of yoga and meditation in their life. They were taught that meditation is relaxation which gives a calm mind, good concentration, and rejuvenation of the body and mind.
