New Delhi, October 17, 2012: Students of Apeejay School, Pitampura had an enriching experience interacting with the students of other schools like DLF Public School and PYD Academy School from India and SMP Labs School from Jakarta through the multi-point VC that was held in October, 2012 by ‘Face to Faith’ organisation.

The VC was held on the unspoken necessity of everyone's life – Compassion. The interaction began with the moderator asking students about their perspective on compassion and suffering, to which students responded enthusiastically by citing various examples. Thereafter, a small discussion was held on the difference between charity and justice and whether charity was the only way to show compassion. Students were then questioned on what they thought various religions had to say about compassion. The discussion clarified the idea that all religions proclaim somewhat similar ways of showing compassion and have similar ideologies.

Taking part in the question-answer round, students of Apeejay School, Pitampura gave examples of Hindu religion in which the ideology of karma invoked the feeling of sympathy towards others. The one-hour VC finally concluded with students of each school summing up what they had learnt throughout the discussion.
