English Day titled “Epiphany 2012” was celebrated on 1st August with great enthusiasm and joi-de-vivre. Prerna Sachdeva of class XI presented her viewpoint on the topic- “Classics vs Popular Literature” succintly. Students of class IX-X staged the famous play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. The audience was regaled and enthralled with the feisty performance of Urvi Midha as Eliza Doolittle.

An interclass English Song Competition (Group) by students of class VII saw the students dressed stylishly to enhance their performance. Students of class VIII participated in an Inter-class Poetry Dramatization Competition and enacted their parts with great zest. Students of class VI participated in an Inter-classStory Illustration Competition and presented a colourful and graphic version of their stories. Colourful and aesthetic display boards highlighted the importance of English as a global language of communication and connectivity was received well by one and all.
