New Delhi, April 22, 2013: Earth Day is observed every year on April 22 to create awareness among the masses on environmental issues. Apeejay School, Pitampura celebrated Earth Day with exuberance to spread a message of hope and inculcate a spirit of oneness among the Earthlings. The morning assembly effectively portrayed the plight of Mother Nature in the growing clamour of development and progress.

The students actively participated in a ‘paper-bag making campaign’ where a total of 1,135 colourful bags depicted their passion in finding an alternative to polybags. A vibrant cultural programme mesmerised the young audience with its meaningful message of ‘Save Earth – Save Life’.
