New Delhi, Oct. 5, 2016: Class assemblies are held at regular intervals for every class, staggered across the calendar, to provide students a suitable platform wherein they get an opportunity to showcase their talent. They also help to develop a spirit of bonhomie among them which is conducive to help build a better rapport between the teacher and the taught.
The Pre-Primary Department of the School organised a Dussehra Assembly depicting the epic story of Ramayana. Enacted by about 100 students, the characters of Ramayana came alive when tiny tots put their heart and soul into their performance. The students enjoyed playing every character. It was indeed a wonderful way of inculcating respect towards the rich Indian treasure of festivals blended with its richness and diversity.
